Nursing and Pharmacy Programs in Georgia for International Students: Verified Options Compared
Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health are separate academic and professional paths. An applicant should not choose among them only because all three belong to health sciences. For current represented English-taught Nursing programs, Admission.ge recommends University of Georgia (UG) first and Caucasus International University (CIU) second. For Pharmacy, UG is currently the only active represented option in this comparison.
This order is an Admission.ge editorial recommendation based on the represented programs and applicant questions covered by this guide. It is not an official university ranking, an admission guarantee or a professional-licensing decision. We do not insert a university into a subject merely to make a longer list.
Current represented Nursing and Pharmacy programs
The live cards below read active Admission.ge records in Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health at the institutions covered by this guide. They use the current program fields on our platform, including qualification level, duration, language and tuition.

This live selection comes from Admission.ge program records. Open a program page to review its current details before applying.
For represented Nursing programs, this UG → CIU order is an Admission.ge editorial recommendation. UG is currently the only represented Pharmacy institution in this selection. No Public Health ranking is shown without an active represented English-taught program. This is not an official ranking, admission guarantee, or professional-licensing decision.

Nursing
Our second Nursing recommendation for its active represented four-year English Bachelor of Nursing program. This recommendation does not extend to Pharmacy or Public Health.

University of Georgia
Pharmacy

The current result is intentionally concise: UG Nursing, CIU Nursing and UG Pharmacy. Public Health is discussed separately because no active represented English-taught Public Health record currently appears in this live selection. That can change when a verified program is added or reactivated.
Nursing comparison: UG first, CIU second
1. University of Georgia (UG) Nursing
UG is our first Nursing recommendation. The current Admission.ge record is an English-taught Bachelor of Nursing program with a four-year duration. UG’s official School of Health Sciences program listing includes Nursing in English, and its international tuition page separately lists the English Nursing bachelor’s program for international students.
For Nursing, applicants should examine more than the degree name. The important evidence includes total credits, the sequence of nursing theory and clinical skills, simulation resources, supervised practice, placement settings, assessment methods and the language used when communicating during practical training. The official qualification is academically important, but it does not by itself decide registration in another country.
Best fit: an international school-leaver who wants the first Admission.ge Nursing recommendation and needs a complete review of the English-taught bachelor’s program, current fees, admission evidence and professional-recognition questions.
2. Caucasus International University (CIU) Nursing
CIU is our second represented Nursing recommendation. CIU’s current international-program page lists an English Nursing bachelor’s program. Its program information describes a four-year, 240-credit curriculum with compulsory core, clinical and professional courses, practical Nursing electives and a Bachelor of Nursing qualification. CIU’s authorization and accreditation page identifies Nursing in English as an accredited bachelor’s program.
CIU’s program documentation states program-specific English and previous-education requirements. These requirements must be applied to the individual international route; they should not be converted into a universal statement that every Nursing applicant needs the same certificate or test result.
Best fit: a school-leaver comparing a second represented English Bachelor of Nursing option and willing to assess its clinical structure, language evidence, tuition and intended country of practice alongside UG.
Pharmacy: one represented option, not a fake ranking
UG is currently the only active represented English-taught Pharmacy option in this Admission.ge comparison. The current program record is a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy. UG’s official program page describes English instruction, a Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification and a curriculum covering pharmaceutical science, pharmacology, pharmaceutical care, analysis and practice. Its official international fee page lists Pharmacy separately from Nursing, Medicine and Dentistry.
Because only one represented Pharmacy program is active here, we do not call UG “number one among four universities.” We present it as the current represented option and evaluate it against the applicant’s requirements.
Before applying, examine:
- The exact Bachelor of Pharmacy qualification and total credits.
- Chemistry, biology and other academic prerequisites for the relevant route.
- Laboratory, pharmaceutical-analysis and formulation work.
- Simulation-pharmacy, community or institutional practice components.
- English evidence and any university assessment.
- Current tuition, payment schedule and refund conditions.
- The registration or licensing path in the country where the applicant intends to practise.
Admission.ge can request curriculum or practical-training clarification when the public evidence does not answer a destination regulator’s question. We cannot declare a graduate eligible for a foreign licensing examination; only the competent regulator can do that.
Public Health is a different level and career direction
Public Health commonly focuses on populations, prevention, epidemiology, policy, health systems, research and management rather than bedside Nursing or the preparation and supply of medicines. It may be offered at graduate or doctoral level and can require a previous bachelor’s or master’s qualification.
UG’s official School of Health Sciences listing includes graduate study in Public Health and Health Care Policy and doctoral study in Public Health. However, the current Admission.ge live block does not contain an active represented English-taught Public Health record. We therefore do not publish a live fee, language claim or recommendation order for it in this guide.
An interested applicant can send us their existing degree and intended public-health direction. Admission.ge will check whether a suitable represented intake is available and verify the study language, entry level, research requirements and current status before recommending it.
Admission requirements: do not use one checklist for every program
Nursing and Pharmacy bachelor’s applicants normally begin with a complete secondary-education record, but each program controls its academic and language evidence. International applicants who completed education abroad may use Georgia’s route for study without the Unified National Examinations when the legal conditions are met and the institution consents.
Recognition of foreign education is a separate official process. NCEQE explains that it verifies the authenticity of the foreign education document and determines the compatibility of the qualification or learning outcomes with qualifications in Georgia. The file can require a passport copy, education certificate, transcript or supplement, notarised Georgian translations and the applicable authority documents.
Admission.ge does not treat a screenshot, an informal grade list or a translation with mismatched names as a complete file. We compare spellings and dates across the passport and education records, check document completeness, identify the correct route and resolve inconsistencies before submission where possible.
Authorization, accreditation and professional recognition
NCEQE states that authorization is obligatory for higher-education institutions in Georgia to conduct educational activity and issue a state-recognized diploma. Program accreditation is a separate quality-assurance process. Admission.ge checks both the institution and exact program evidence.
For Nursing and Pharmacy, another check is essential: professional permission in the destination country. A state-recognized Georgian degree does not automatically grant registration, a licence, an internship place or permission to use a protected professional title abroad. Requirements may include curriculum review, clinical-hour evidence, language tests, examinations, supervised practice or other conditions.
Before the applicant commits, our team records the intended country and highlights the regulator questions that can be verified. The applicant should obtain a formal decision from the competent authority when required.
How Admission.ge supports the full application
Applicants can apply to the represented Nursing and Pharmacy programs through Admission.ge. Our service can:
- Match the applicant to the correct Nursing or Pharmacy level and represented program.
- Compare UG and CIU Nursing using the verified fields on our platform.
- Review passport, school certificate, transcript and supporting evidence.
- Identify missing pages, spelling conflicts, unclear scans or unusable translations.
- Coordinate certified translation, notarisation or legalisation steps when required.
- Prepare and submit the university application through the applicable represented route.
- Coordinate foreign-education recognition work included in the selected service.
- Communicate with the university and track the case.
- Prepare the relevant visa-document checklist and check the application file for consistency.
- Provide optional residence-permit guidance, airport pickup and arrival support at the appropriate stage.
We are confident about the work we control: program matching, accurate document preparation, coordination and follow-up. Universities decide academic admission; NCEQE and other Georgian authorities decide matters within their powers; consular and border authorities decide visas and entry; foreign professional regulators decide licensing and registration. Admission.ge does not guarantee those decisions.
