1. University of Georgia (UG): our first business recommendation
UG is our first recommendation because its represented English-taught catalog gives the widest business comparison in this group. Current Admission.ge records include three- and four-year Business Administration bachelor’s options, Business Analytics bachelor’s options, an MBA and Financial Risk Management at master’s level. That range is useful for an applicant who has not yet decided between a broad management degree and a more quantitative direction.
UG’s official business-school listing identifies English-taught Business Administration and Business Analytics undergraduate programs and English-taught MBA and Financial Risk Management graduate programs. Its international tuition page separately lists the English programs and fees for international applicants. Because universities can publish different fee tables for domestic and international routes, use the amount and intake displayed on the relevant Admission.ge program page for your case rather than copying a figure from a general list.
Best fit: school-leavers comparing a general BBA with Business Analytics, or degree-holders comparing an MBA with a finance-and-risk direction. The right option depends on entry qualification and curriculum—not on assuming that a specialised title is automatically better.
2. Caucasus University (CU): broad progression and specialist paths
CU is our second recommendation because the represented catalog includes Business Administration at bachelor’s and master’s levels, Economics at bachelor’s and PhD levels, and doctoral options in Management and Marketing. CU’s official international-program pages also describe its English BBA and MBA, while its current doctoral information distinguishes the individual research programs.
That creates useful progression choices, but it also makes level separation essential. A BBA is a first-cycle degree. An MBA is a graduate qualification and normally requires a prior bachelor’s degree; specific programs may also require work experience, interviews, tests or defined English evidence. A PhD is a research degree requiring a master’s-level qualification or equivalent and program-specific academic evidence. These are different admissions decisions, not three versions of the same course.
Best fit: applicants who want a represented BBA or MBA and applicants with a genuine research plan in Economics, Management or Marketing. Doctoral availability, language, supervisor fit and intake must be confirmed for the exact program before documents are prepared.
3. Alte University: a focused English BBA choice
Alte is our third recommendation for applicants seeking a focused, represented English-taught Bachelor of Business Administration. Alte’s official program page describes a three-year, 180-ECTS program and a curriculum built around business analysis, decision-making, leadership, finance, marketing, operations and human resources.
The university also describes an international-study opportunity linked to Montpellier Business School. Any mobility, dual-qualification or partner-study route has separate eligibility, progression, language, fee and travel conditions. Admission.ge will verify the terms applying to the applicant’s intake before presenting that feature as part of the final comparison.
Best fit: a school-leaver who wants a concise English BBA shortlist and values a practice-oriented program structure. Applicants seeking an MBA or PhD should not assume that the represented Alte BBA card covers those levels.
4. Caucasus International University (CIU): an additional focused BBA
CIU is our fourth recommendation and another represented English-taught BBA choice. CIU’s official international page lists a three-year, 180-ECTS English Business Administration bachelor’s program. Its program materials describe concentrations in Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, while an official university announcement records seven-year full accreditation for the Georgian- and English-language three-year BBA programs.
CIU also publishes mobility and double-degree opportunities. These should be treated as conditional routes, not automatic benefits for every admitted student. The applicable academic progress, partner selection, documentation, language, additional cost and immigration conditions must be checked for the specific cohort.
Best fit: a school-leaver comparing a focused English BBA and its available concentrations. CIU and CU are different universities; Admission.ge uses their full names and program links in the application file to prevent confusion.
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD: choose the correct level first
Bachelor’s
A bachelor’s program is normally the correct starting point for an applicant with complete secondary education who has not yet earned a first university degree. Compare the awarded qualification, total ECTS, three- or four-year structure, core courses, concentrations, internship or project components and progression rules. A shorter duration is not automatically a better value: compare the full curriculum and qualification.
Master’s
A master’s program requires an appropriate previous higher-education qualification. Check whether the exact award is an MBA, another specialised master’s degree or a different qualification. Then compare prerequisites, work-experience expectations, English evidence, admission assessments, thesis or project requirements, schedule and total cost. No single IELTS score, exemption or experience rule applies to every university.
PhD
A PhD is for research, not a general upgrade from a BBA. Confirm the exact doctoral field, language of instruction, research proposal requirements, prior degree, publications or experience expectations, entrance assessments, supervisor or faculty fit and dissertation rules. The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement explains that authorization is the institutional mechanism required for a Georgian higher-education institution to conduct educational activity and issue a state-recognized diploma.
