Program Overview
The aim of the program is to train competent, compassionate, and just medical doctors possessing the necessary theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional values defined by Georgian medical education standards and the TUNING/MEDINE framework. Graduates will be able to pursue advanced studies (Master’s, Doctoral), apply for junior doctor positions, engage in scientific and academic work, and contribute meaningfully to local and global healthcare and community well-being.
The program consists of:
A total of 360 ECTS over 6 years (12 semesters; 38-week academic years)
Compulsory (326 ECTS) and optional/elective (34 ECTS; including 12 ECTS language credits) components

Teaching through lectures, interactive seminars, practical labs, problem-based and case-based learning, simulation scenarios, standardized patient interactions, clinical rotations with mentors, and bedside teaching.
Assessment via continuous quizzes, research activities, and final exams; clinical studies evaluated through ongoing assessments, including written and practical components.

A video interview must be completed through our online admission portal. The interview will be recorded and reviewed by the university admission committee.
