Program Overview

The Dentistry program at UG aims to educate highly competent, compassionate, and ethically responsible dental professionals. Over a five‑year single‑cycle curriculum, students acquire in‑depth knowledge of oral anatomy, pathology, periodontal diseases, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, restorative and preventive dentistry, and maxillofacial surgery. Taught entirely in English, it integrates lectures, interactive seminars, lab practice, simulation training, and clinical rotations held at UG’s modern clinics like “UG Dent” and “UG Reavita Dent” with advanced equipment including digital X‑ray and 3D CT scanning. The University collaborates with partners such as the Swiss Curaden Academy to deliver specialized prophylaxis training (iTOP method). The hands‑on clinical exposure under expert supervision prepares graduates to treat diverse patient groups and engage in scientific‑academic activities.
