Established in Fall 2006, the ISET MA in Economics is renowned for its rigorous curriculum and international faculty with PhDs from elite institutions such as Columbia, ETH Zurich, and LSE Year 1 Coursework: Core modules in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Statistics/Econometrics, Mathematics for Economists, supplemented by Academic Writing and Professional Development courses Year 2 Specializations: Concentrations include Economic Theory, Energy Economics, Inclusive Growth, Macroeconomic Policy, and Modern Data Analysis. Students personalize their plan under faculty guidance and complete a capstone Master’s Project Includes internships, applied research, and frequent interaction with policymakers and practitioners Nearly all graduates secure analytical or professional employment, ~15% pursue fully funded PhDs at globally prestigious universities (e.g., Stanford, NYU, Chicago, Warwick)
