International Black Sea University

International Black Sea University was established and began operating under a Georgian Ministry of Education licence issued on 31 August 1995. The university provides bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral education, together with a one-cycle medical doctor program, through five schools. Its programs are delivered in English and Georgian. Official university materials describe teaching and research priorities that include transferable skills, modern teaching methods, international cooperation, research development and links with employment needs. Student resources include a library with printed and electronic materials and databases, research centers, career-development support, student and alumni services, exchange opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
