Recognition of Foreign Education in Georgia: Admission.ge Filing Support
Recognition of foreign education is an official process handled by Georgia's National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE/EQE). It should not be described as a private certificate sold by an agent, and it is not identical to university admission.
What the recognition process does
NCEQE states that it verifies the authenticity of an educational document issued by a foreign institution and establishes the compatibility of the qualification or learning outcomes with qualifications existing in Georgia. Its official page covers general, vocational, and higher education and also identifies categories outside the service's scope.
The result concerns the education document presented in the application. It does not guarantee that a university will accept an applicant into a particular program, that credits will transfer, or that a foreign professional regulator will license the graduate.
Documents listed by NCEQE
The official list includes an application, identity documentation, educational documents, and the service-fee receipt. Additional documents apply when a representative or parent files, when another competent recognition body charges a fee, or for certain types of study and applicants.
Educational evidence can include a school certificate and supplement or official grade transcript, a vocational diploma and supplement, a higher-education diploma and supplement, or another document certifying an awarded academic qualification. The correct set depends on the recognition being requested.
Translation and notarization
NCEQE's official guidance says that a foreign-language document is subject to translation into Georgian and notarization of the translation. Applicants should preserve complete, unedited copies and make sure names and document details remain consistent through translation.
Admission.ge can review scans before translation, identify missing pages or inconsistent spellings, and coordinate certified Georgian translation and notarization through the appropriate providers. We can then prepare and file the recognition package when that work is included in the selected service.
Fees and processing options
NCEQE publishes regular and accelerated service options and their fees. Because amounts and timing rules can change, Admission.ge rechecks the official schedule for the applicant before filing and separates the government payment from our service fee, translation, notarization, courier, university, visa and other third-party costs.
Recognition versus enrollment
For applicants using the route without Georgia's Unified National Examinations or Common Master's Examinations, recognition may be followed by a separate request for the right to enroll and by the university's own final enrollment action. Do not treat one decision as proof that the other stages are complete.
Practical file check
- Confirm which education level needs recognition.
- Use the latest NCEQE checklist for that case.
- Submit complete originals or copies in the form required by the authority.
- Match passport spelling across translations and applications.
- Pay government charges only through the official method.
- Retain the receipt, application reference, decision, and all translated documents.
- Use the current Admission.ge program checklist prepared for the selected case.
Admission.ge service boundary
Our team can organize the recognition file, translations, notarization coordination, submission support, university communication, and case tracking. We can explain what is missing and keep the academic application aligned with the recognition file. NCEQE alone verifies the evidence and issues its decision; Admission.ge cannot guarantee approval or alter an official result.
Apply through Admission.ge and let our team prepare the process
Choose a program and apply through our platform. We turn the selected university’s requirements into a clear checklist, review your file, prepare the included steps, submit through our official partner channel, and keep you informed from application to arrival.
Admission documents, prepared and checked
We prepare the university application, check documents against the selected program’s current requirements, arrange certified translation, handle the EQE recognition filing, communicate with the university, and track the application.
Visa and residence-document support
When purchased and applicable, our visa service prepares the case checklist, reviews documents before submission, explains the responsible consular procedure, follows progress, and helps answer additional-document requests. TRC support is available separately after arrival.
Arrival and ongoing student support
Optional airport pickup and TRC assistance are available. We also provide accommodation guidance, bank-account guidance, subject-registration help, and continuing support during your studies.
Our review is a professional completeness and quality check against the information available for your case. Universities and Georgian or foreign authorities make all admission, recognition, visa, residence, border-entry, and professional-licensing decisions; no outcome is guaranteed.
