Information Technology

The program spans 240 ECTS credits over 4 years (8 semesters) and includes a combination of university, faculty, and field-specific compulsory and elective modules, as well as free credit courses. Students gain theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in computing, programming, network systems, cybersecurity, and software engineering. The curriculum aligns with Level VI of the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education and sector benchmarks in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). The program emphasizes problem-solving, technical innovation, and the ability to adapt to rapid technological change. The Bachelor’s in Information Technology has been offered at CIU’s Faculty of Business and Technology since the 2024-2025 academic year.
